Jenny started her career in the dental field in 2001. She joined the Grayslake Orthodontics team in 2007 as an assistant and became our orthodontic office manager in 2015. Throughout her career, Jenny has dabbled in all areas of the orthodontic office. Assisting, making retainers, managing finances – you name it, she’s done it all. Jenny is known for creating a strong team and great patient experiences.
When she is not at the orthodontic office, you can find Jenny spending time with her husband and five beautiful children. She loves to plan parties, craft, and most of all, travel to new places with her family.
Jenny became a member of the Grayslake Orthodontics team in 2014. As our treatment coordinator, her top priority is patient care. She strives to ensure that our patients understand all of the details of their time here, especially their insurance benefits. She enjoys meeting all of our new patients and watching their journey to a beautiful smile from start to finish.
Outside of working hours, Jenny loves to spend time with her family.
Lorena joined the Grayslake Orthodontics team in 2022. She has enjoyed getting to know the patients and families. She has loved getting to see the patients' smiles transform.
Outside of work, Lorena loves going on new adventures with her family.
Marisa enjoys the social aspects of working in an orthodontic office. Whether it's over the phone or in-person, she most treasures the opportunity to meet new people and their families. She's happy to be part of the team transforming smiles at Grayslake Ortho.
When she's not at the office, Marisa can be found playing with her son and her dog at the park or relaxing with family.
Allison’s favorite part of the day is helping patients feel truly confident about their smiles. She started her orthodontic assisting career at Grayslake Orthodontics in 2015. Since then, she has been trained to be a lab technician as well. When she is not working on patients, you can find her in our in-house lab pouring impressions, making retainers, or creating other orthodontic appliances. She really loves being in the lab and feels very proud of her work.
When Allison is not working, she enjoys seeking out good finds at thrift/antique shops, crafting, or spending time at home curled up with her cat, Katniss.
Gaby started her dental career in 2005 and has been part of the Grayslake Orthodontics team since 2009. She enjoys helping others, and as our clinical coordinator, she manages the clinical area to ensure patients are receiving the proper care and work that they need. Gaby has a gentle touch and really enjoys working with special needs patients. She is also our social media guru.
In her free time, Gaby fosters and volunteers at a dog rescue. She also enjoys playing with her dog and watching movies.
Anel graduated from her dental assisting program in 2020 and has since worked in several different specialties of dentistry. She developed an interest in orthodontics specifically while she was a teenager and had braces herself. She really enjoys seeing the smile transformations that happen at Grayslake Orthodontics.
Anel loves to travel when not at the office. One of her favorite places to visit every year is Colorado, she loves hiking and attending the state fair. When at home, Anel spends time with family and her two puppies, Tina & Gina, who run her life and her bank account.
Mary Jo joined the Grayslake Orthodontics team in 2022. She loves the hands-on aspects of assisting. She also likes watching smiles progress throughout treatment.
Outside of the office, Mary Jo enjoys spending time with her daughter. Her other interests include playing bass guitar, weight training and attending concerts.
Cassandra became a part of the Grayslake Orthodontics team in 2022. She is very passionate about oral hygiene and loves to help patients feel proud about all aspects of their smile.
Outside of work, Cassandra loves to be outdoors. When the weather permits, she can be found fishing, boating, or just sitting out by a campfire. She also has two dogs that join almost every adventure she goes on.
Valentina graduated as a Dental Assistant in 1991 and has focused on the orthodontic specialty since that time. She came to Grayslake Orthodontics in 2023 with an experienced portfolio that complements the practice's core values. Her daily rewards are watching the transformations of smiles and the positive interaction with patients.
Valentina's free time is usually spent with her husband and their 3 daughters. They enjoy outdoor activities throughout all seasons. Valentina can always find time for exploring new recipes and books.
Ivy joined the Grayslake Orthodontics team in 2021 at just three months old! This high-achieving young lady enjoys greeting patients and their families when they walk into the waiting room. She is very friendly and gets excited whenever people say hello to her.
Ivy enjoys going on lunchtime walks with Dr. Ben. Her favorite hobby is chewing on sticks. She also enjoys swimming, regardless of the outdoor temperature. When she grows up, Ivy wants to be a certified therapy dog.
